Jam Drop Biscuits |
Butter 125 gm
Vanilla essence ½ tsp
Caster sugar ½ cup
Almonds, blanched and ground 1 cup
Egg 1
Flour 2/3 cup
Jam 2 tbsp
Method
Beat butter, sugar, add in almonds ground, essence, add egg and beat well. Fold in flour and drop tablespoonfuls of batter on trays. Using handle of a wooden spoon make small indents in the middle of each biscuit and fill with jam, bake at 180 degrees C for 15 minutes or till golden.
