Cheesy Macaroni |
Elbow macaroni 2 cup
Cheddar cheese 1 cup
Butter ½ cup
Flour ½ cup
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Onion, chopped 1 tbsp
Milk 4 cups
Method
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour, salt, pepper, and onion and stir until it forms a paste.
Add milk and bring to a boil. Let boil for one minute or until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and add cheese (save a couple of handfuls for topping).
Stir until cheese melts.
Combine cheese sauce with boiled pasta and pour into greased Pyrex dish.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
