Ingredients:
Beef or chicken pasanday ½ kg
Cumin seeds 50 grams
Desiccated coconut 50 grams
Poppy seeds 50 grams
Cardamom 6
Turmeric 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cinnamon stick 1
Black pepper corns 1tbsp
Nutmeg, mace ½ tsp
Tatri ½ tsp
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Yoghurt 250 g
Oil ½ cup
bay leaves (tez pata) 2
Method:
Roast cumin seeds, desiccated coconut, poppy seeds, nutmeg, mace,Cinnamon stick, cardamoms and black pepper corns.
Now add in red chili powder, turmeric, salt,bay leaves, yoghurt, tatri and mix well. Apply the batter to the meat and freeze it.
Whenever desired, cook it in hot oil for 20 minutes with the vessel covered.
Cook thoroughly and add in water. Let it set for 10 more minutes and serve.
