Chocolate Wontons |
chocolate spread OR chocolate bar (cut into cubes) 8 to 10 tablespoon
sheets of filo pastry
2 egg large (lightly beaten)
chocolate syrup (to garnish) or sugar or coco powder
Cooking Oil (to fry)
METHOD
Lightly brush 1 side of each filo pastry with beaten egg, then put 1 teaspoon of chocolate spread or 1 cube of chocolate in the center of each.
Fold filled wontons in half to form triangles, pressing gently around filling to eliminate any air bubbles and sealing edges with more egg. Deep fry in cooking oil. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve hot!
