Pineapple Soufflé |
Eggs, separated 2
Caster sugar 3 oz
Yellow color few drops
Pineapple essence few drops
Gelatin powder, 1 tbsp
Pineapple juice ¼ cup
Milk 1 cup
Flour 1 tbsp
Cream 8 oz
Pineapple slices to decorate
Cherries to decorate
Method
Mix sugar, yolks, flour and cold milk to make a paste. Put this in the remaining milk and using a whisk cook till thick. Remove and add gelatin mixture. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in. Add in yellow color and pineapple essence. Beat cream thick and fold in. Pour mixture in a bowl and let set. Decorate with cream swirls and pineapple slices and cherries.
